At Room, we get asked often: "What's the difference between rebonding and ADVANTE Smooth?" They both treat frizz and straighten hair, but how they work, and what your hair feels like after, is where they differ.
How ADVANTE Smooth Treatment is different from rebonding
Rebonding straightens hair through a strong chemical process. It's effective, but the process is intense, and not all hair types are suitable for it. ADVANTE Smooth takes a gentler route, it works closer to your hair’s natural condition instead of fighting against it.
That difference matters for a lot of Room's customers. Our stylist Daria, puts it this way:
"Some hair types aren’t suited to rebonding at all - such as fine hair. ADVANTE Smooth Treatment is gentler, giving such customers an option to straighten their hair. And the look is different too: It's straight but natural. You get smoother hair and better frizz control, but without the stiff, flat finish that traditional rebonding can sometimes leave."
At Room, we also pay attention to your hair texture at different parts. ADVANTE can be customized along the hair, we adjust the strength where it's actually needed - stronger at the roots where frizz starts, gentler through the lengths and ends. That way, we ensure that your hair gets what it actually needs, without unnecessary stress on your hair.
